Subject:Kurzweil KB3 Sounds on 2600

Just wanted to add my 2 cents regarding the KB3 sounds on the Kurzweil 2600.
I had the opportunity to try one yesterday as my university is purchasing a
2600 as a workstation. I must tell you that I was terribly unimpressed. The
sounds are not even close to the better clones'. The Leslie sim was a
disaster with major ramp up and down problems, and the whole user interface
with the sliders and mod wheel is a mistake! First, there is a noticible
delay in sound amplitute when moving the sliders (drawbars). In addition,
having to move the modulation wheel for the 9th drawbar is a bother.
Kurzweil should have just included a 9th slider next to the other 8!
