Eric,

Glad to hear that your Leslie is back in shape.

Just FYI: The V21 driver is pretty fragile. It's only rated at 35 or 40
watts -- I don't remember which -- and works fine when the Leslie is used
on clean settings, but a Leslie can put out 55-60W in "Jon Lord"
mode. Since the amp is overdriven, a great amount of that power is high
frequency, making the situation even worse. The fact that all of the V21's
are quite old doesn't help matters any.

If you push the Leslie, and love to gliss up to high C, you are going to
need a new driver someday, and IMHO, another V21 is not the way to go. The
Atlas PD60 is a great replacement driver, and pretty much retains the V21
tone if you put a 15 or 16 ohm resistor across it -- do yourself a favor,
and make sure it's a 15-25W resistor, not a little 1/4 job -- or you can
find an adapter to a 1" threaded driver and search around for an EV 1829B
or a Gollehon 579 in 16 ohms, both a little hard to come by these days.
