Subject:Re: [Voce] Re: DMI 64 + MIDI Drawbar question...
It never responden. I checked with a sequencer what the drawbars was sending on the midi-cable. It has a little switch on the back with the word 'mode'. The unit transmits CC messages. When switching the mode-switch it doesn't send CC messages, but sysex messages when moving the drawbars.
In the manual of the DMI64 I read that it only responds to sysex. I guess I'm looking for some setting on the DMI64...

You mean it DID respond, and now it doesn't ... or it NEVER responded?
If it never responded, my first thought would be to a) double check that the
drawbars are sending out MIDI cc messages, and on which cc#'s they are doing
it [record into your computer sequencer, then look at the data]; then, b)
double-check the cc# assignments in the DMI-64 [if you don't have the manual,
message me].
If it did respond, and now doesn't: a) did you accidentally reassign
something or change something on the DMI [again, it might be a parameter,
accessible but incomprehensible without the manual].

p.s., you didn't actually pull pins out of your MIDI cable like some fool
suggested here recently .. oh wait a minute, that was me. $~} Ark ark
