Jeroen,

I suspect that you have something set up a little incorrectly, but that the
correction will probably be easy.. Read on for my comments, with [BW] --

Best regards,

Subject: [Voce] Question about V5 + midi drawbar

Hi,

This weekend I received my V5. A few weeks earlier I purchased a MIDI
Drawbar unit hoping I could use it to control the sound of the second
manual. I doesn't work....

When using the drawbar unit to control the sound on channel 1, it
functions as expected, but setting the V5 to multitimbral mode, channel 1,
and setting the drawbar unit to channel 2, only the non-drawbar controls
work (volume, keyclick, etc). I suspect the V5 needs different CC# for it's
second manual.

[BW] Unless they've radically changed the V5 from the V3 -- and I doubt
it -- you don't need a different set of CC#'s for the lower manual. What
strikes me as "wrong" in your setup is that the non-drawbar controls work,
while the drawbars don't. That is exactly backwards of my V3 with two sets
of drawbars: My secondary channel knobs do absolutely nothing, while the
secondary channel drawbars do exactly what they are supposed to do; i.e.,
CC#12 = 16', CC#13 = 5 1/3', etc. Do you have the V5 set to work in Omni
mode or something?

Any of you guys with V5's out there, can you help?

Anyone has got any idea of how I get this to work?

Grtz,
Jeroen
