Subject:V5 with Trek UC1A pedal

Hi all,
I'm doing a recording session on Thursday and since the studio has no
Hammond I'm planning on bringing my V5. They DO have a Leslie. I have
hooked the V5 up to a Leslie via a Trek UCIA pedal before but found that
there was a very low signal level through either high or low Trek
inputs. I'd worry about rotor noise being a problem if the level of the
signal is so low (in comparison to a C3 through the same 122 Leslie).
Any experience with this problem and how to address it - another amp
etc....?
