Subject:RE: [Voce] Live Gear Rig

Hey Guys-
My Live rig consists of a Roland RD-500 for piano and clav, run thru a wah wah
peddle into a Motion Sound KBR-M which is set on a keyboard stand behind me
,head level(this way I can hear it and it projects out), and a Voce V-5 thru
an art tube preamp using a Korg M-1 as a master controller thru a Morley
volume peddle into the KBR-M,than line out to the P.A. I have to send the V-5
back to Dr Strings because of it shorting out so I've been back to using my
Roland VK-7, and I gotta say, I REALLY MISS MY V-5!!! While the VK-7 sounds
fine for recording or what have you, it just doesn't do for me what the V-5
does in a live setting. I'm also getting a jones for a real Leslie. While the
KBR-M is perfect for what it is,portable, convenient because both keyboards
hook into it,and easy to set up and sounds good, I think the Leslie will give
me the true "AHHHHH " factor I'm looking for. I ,too ,keep a big tub of
cables and assorted cords on hand in case of some kind of failure.
regards-
Bill
