Nice idea. I'm taking notes. This is also kinda timely for me because I have
some questions I'd like to ask about how to improve my rig. Any help very
appreciated. I'll describe my rig:

I use a Roland A30 as a controller keyboard (nice action for organ and
pretty decent for piano). A Voce V5 is velcroed down on the left (just above
the expression lever). I lose the use of 8 keys that way but since the A30
is 76 notes and my main thing is organ I don't care too much. Occasionally
for a double manual I use a Roland VK1 (pre-midi organ dedicated keyboard)
and just sit the A30 on it's wide flat top. The V5 (and VK1) go into a Boss
FV300L stereo volume pedal. When I use the VK1, I run the lines after the
volume pedal into a Rapco A/B box and sum the two signals together. From
there the one organ signal goes into a Motion Sound Pro 3T. That's then fed
into a Peavey KBA100 which sounds not bad at lower volumes (and has reverb)
but isn't loud enough and is a little dull sounding. I use a Kurzweil
Micropiano which sits on top of the Pro 3T and is in turn fed into the
Peavey.

I do a bunch of different types of gigs (mainly r 'n' b type things) but
most are small to medium size clubs. A lot of the time going into the PA
isn't a viable option so I'm relying on the Peavey as my sole source of
amplification.

I think I've got the best basic non 'original' sound sources I could find.
The V5 and micropiano are very good. I can't carry a real Leslie AND a piano
amp so I settle for the Pro 3T. However my amplification isn't sufficient
and I'm looking around for something that is louder, sounds good for organ,
is not too heavy and will work ergonomically with the Pro 3T. My other main
problem is set up time and the mess of leads and (3) wall warts I have to
deal with. I'm trying to figure out a way to shorten the time it takes to
set up, keep the wall warts safe and reduce the mess of leads. I've
considered rackmounting the Kurz but it doesn't seem worth it for the sake
of one module (although I also have an ETA power conditioner I could rack).
I've also thought about getting an SKB PS100 pedal board/ rack unit. Anyone
have any experience with them? I've never really used clone organ and pianos
before so I'm pretty new to this way of doing things so if anyone can help
me out with suggestions it would be much appreciated.

For the future I'd like to get some good clav, EP's and synth sounds going
on as well. What do you guys use for them? I also need to get a souped up
Leslie (maybe chopped) for organ specific gigs and a chopped Hammond as
well.

That's my rig and the problems associated with it. Very interested in what
everyone else uses and in this thread in general.
