Ah, NOW I understand! Again, a place where a set of MIDI drawbars would
go a long way. I have a thought/proposal for the group:

For whatever reasons, DR Music has decided NOT to re-release the
MIDI Drawbar Module. I suspect that most of the reason is a
perception that "it won't sell" now that the V3 is history. The
banter here on the list seems to say otherwise: Many V3 owners
have no drawbars, and would like a set, maybe even TWO sets.
Many V5 owners would like drawbars for the lower manual. There
are even players who might consider a set for the pedals.

All of that is well and good, but to the best of my knowledge, DR
Music is not part of this list, so they don't get your feedback.
If you want to see the MIDI DB Module back in production, contact
DR Music and let them know. They are at http://www.drstrings.com/.

Oh, and one more thing: After you've contacted them, be prepared
to "put your money where your mouth is." A set of drawbars is
going to set you back about $250-300US new, based on past
experience. If e-mail feedback implies that there are hundreds of
unfilled DB sales, but the sales don't materialize, our credibility
goes away quickly. DR Music is a business, not a philanthropy.

I'll send a similar note to the DR rep that I know, but my vote doesn't
really count, as I already have two DB modules, and probably won't be
buying a third or fourth unit any time soon.
