Mike they already do, in a manner of speaking. The Leslie 302/303 is
relatively small (27" tall, 4" narrower than the 122-style, and
lighter -- but no featherweight -- at 105/115 lbs.) unit that uses the
same upper horn and driver as the 122/147 series. There are also a
number of Model 860 speakers running around, which was the 1970's small
Leslie. The only problem with these units is that a) they are solid
state, rather than tube, and b) I'm told that they aren't all that loud.
