Subject:Half a Leslie

I just had an idea. I wonder how feasable it would be to use the
electronics of a Motion Sound Pro3-T and substitute the moving parts
with a custom built top 1/2 of a real Leslie? I'm thinking similar
to doing a chop job on a Hammond B3 or C3. Yes, it might be a little
on the expensive side, but for anyone for whom space and ease of
movement are big factors, this might be a good solution. Any
thoughts on why this would or would not work well?
