I use a Peavey LM 8S Line mixer with great results. It has 8 Stereo
channels
in a single rack space, 100 db S/n ratio(no hiss), built in power
supply.
Cheap, about $180.
Another good one; Samson PL1602. A little more versatile, about $250.
