Thought I might be able to add something here. I have a V5 controlled by
either a Kurzweil K2000 or a Roland EP-7, which has the same action as an
A-33 - close to an A-30. I send the V5 into a Pro 3T. My keyboard amp is a
Yorkville 300 K. I'm happy with it overall. It sounds good over the whole
frequency range, it is powerful for its size (300 watts) and therefore
pretty clean at high volumes (good for piano sounds). Its bass response
kicks nicely, which makes it a good bottom end for a Pro 3T, and it's got 5
stereo inputs, mic in, line out, etc. etc. - basically every connection you
could want. It's their top of the line amp. It has 2 12" woofers and two
tweeters - it's stereo but I use it in mono. It's not too heavy, but it's
very solidly built. It cost around $800 - money well spent. If I had any
complaints I'd say I wish it were even more powerful so I could have absolute
dominance at all times , but it's fine for most of my gigging situations.
I usually get help from onstage monitors anyway, which really make the Pro 3T
shine. Not perfect but pretty darn good.....
