Subject:Re: Mounting Drawbars to a solid base

This is a repeat but...
Like Melvin, I use a six space rack that houses the V3 on the upper space and
the Drawbars on the lower. There is more than enough space to get to the
drawbars and to house the expression pedal, 2 footswitchs, muffin fan/strip
and all the cords plugged in. It leaves for a quick setup. I didn't put holes
in the drawbars but attached corner pieces around the drawbars to keep it
from sliding and then attached a rubber covered bar (like a large "U" bolt)
across the top and down the sides. This is fastened on either side of the
unit. This way if I decide to take it out there are no holes or marks to the
unit. As I mentioned yesterday, I am considering a V5 if anyone is interested
in this setup. No...its not like the "draws" on a Hammond, but it has its
advantages.
