Hello Group!

I use a Roland A-30 controller for both V3 and Kurtzweil Micro-Piano. In my opinion, this keyboard makes for a good compromise for both piano and organ.

The surface on the A-30 is at the wrong angle for convenient mounting of the drawbars. I solved this problem by fabricating a wedge of 1/4" acrylic slightly longer than the footprint of the Voce drawbars. The drawbar unit is attached to the wedge with Velcro covering the entire area of the wedge which is in turn attached to the keyboard with Velcro strips of the same area. The wedge typically stays with the keyboard and the drawbar unit is removed and packed in the keyboard case for transport. It is sturdy and does *not* move.

The wedge is fabricated from three pieces of 1/4" acrylic. I cut this with a laser, but a table saw or band saw would suffice. Two pieces of the wedge are identical and cut close to the dimensions of the drawbar unit. The third piece is the same length as the other two flat pieces, but cut only wide enough to allow the drawbars to be horizontal when the third piece is inserted between the other two. Once the width of the third acrylic piece was determined, the three pieces were temporarily clamped and set with epoxy.

Because a picture is "worth a thousand words", I would be glad to take a digital picture for anyone interested.
