Subject:Volume Pedal/Expression

Still am confused with the volume/expression issue. I need to have a
footpedal that I can rely on, that is stereo, that will give me the level
increase that I need for solos and the times when guitars get out of bounds,
etc. That will have the range of movement and bulk (ie viscous damping) to
resist large volume increases with small movement. A Spring loaded return
to the preset level would be great as well.

I am gigging and playing both hands and it is too hard to control the volume
with a rotary pot on a dark background on the drawbar, sitting on a
cantilevered velcro encrusted extendo thing that I built for the bass end of
the keyboard
controller..

The control keyboard is also used at times for piano alone or synth alone or
synth mixed with V3 so the question is, are two pedals needed? Piano/synth
in stereo as well.

The expression input /output on the V3 has not been of use and the rest of
my band is impatient for me to easily swell and fade when I need to.

Experiences/suggestions/used gear that will work?
