Subject:Midi merge box needed for V5?

Dear List,

Thank you very much for the great responses to my volume pedal question. I
really appreciate it. Here's another question.

Before I go out and buy a midi-merge box (I'm looking at the Midi Solutions
Quadra which goes for about a $115), can someone verify for me that I indeed
need a midi-merge box in order to run two manuals and pedals from one V5
module? Am I overlooking something, and don't need the midi-merge box? (N.
B. My setup is for live performing without any computer assistance.) Thank
