Subject:chain of command

I've pretty much decided on getting a V3/ or a V5 (used if possible) and have a few more questions.

Do the fixes for the noise problem with the V3 do a complete job of getting rid of the hiss, I can't handle extra noises.Been through that.

How does the V3 sound without the drawbars, I only need a few sounds.A real greasy blues,funky jazz and a rock tone. This is for playing at home no gigging going on.

Would some of the list users be willing to post the chain of command they use with their Voce set up and say a few words about it's strengths and weaknesses.It would be great for me being I'm just starting to put this all together and I think other list members would find it interesting as well.

I know most people are running their signal into a portable amp of some sort but I'd like to route mine through my soundcard and into my surroundsound stereo system. I'm doing that now and playing B3 sound fonts(which suck) and the overall sound is nice and big, its just the fonts that stink.
Second choice is a couple of used peavey 100 watt keyboard amps.( gotta have stereo) So is anyone running something besides a combo amp setup???

Lastly, any one looking for a Korg G4 I came across one, I'm passing for now, they want 300 for it.
