As owner of a Dual MP and author of the review on Theatreorgans.com, I
heartily agree: The Dual MP is a great tube-amp simulator, and
extremely flexible. Personally, I think a pair of 12AX7 stages is
necessary to impart the warmth and growl of a Leslie 122's amp, but if
you disagree -- or you are using the Rotosphere or PRO-3T, which already
have a tube stage -- you can use the second side of the Dual MP to warm
up EP, guitar, and clav patches on a synth or module. ART also makes a
single-stage unit, but it's not rack-mountable.
