No I wasn't. I tried it out and sent it back after a few days and one gig. I
couldn't handle the lack of bottom end. Plus, the thing hisses - not so you'd
notice at a gig, but to be point where it would be unusable for studio work. I
think if you're just using it as a live monitor and sending a feed from it to the
P.A. it would be OK and very handy (though not that inspiring to hear onstage).
As a sole source of amplification, I don't think it's up to scratch. I wanted to
like it, it would have made gig set-up so much easier...

I agree with you. It sounds kinda artificial, and definitely not as dramatic.Why?
The bass. sim thingy? The physical dimensions? More tubes? A combination of all
these things?
