I recently purchased a Mackie 200AM powered speaker. As far as I know, it is manufactured by RCF, an Italian subsidiary of Mackie. This speaker has four band EQ for two of the three 1/4" inputs. I believe that the 10" speaker is powered by a 100 watt power amplifier and the horn powered by a 60 watt amplifier, but if someone knows better, please correct me.

My V3 is fed to an Alesis 1/3 octave EQ and then to the unequalized line input of the speaker controlled by a volume pot. My Kurtzweil Micro Piano and Korg 05R/W feed to the two channels which are shaped by the four band EQ and each controlled by a volume pot.

So far, I like the speaker, but it has only seen one road gig. The 200AM (Amplified Mixer) can be mounted on a stand, placed on end or with the assistance of an included foot, sat on the floor at an angle as a monitor.

The 200A is a similar speaker, but with XLR line or mic. input and no EQ. I also purchased two 300A speakers for PA which I believe are 200 watts for the 10" and 60 watts for the horn. I am not sure about these specifications. These 300A speakers are great in my opinion. I would like to hear from someone else who is more knowledgeable about the specifications and has had more experience with these speakers. They were *highly* recommended by some sound professionals here in Rhode Island. Mackie has not yet released a user's manual for this series of speakers I purchased from Alpha Audio, Mystic, CT.

I apologize for not getting the pictures of the "wedge" taken. It is on top of the controller in the studio of a band member with the flu. I will get to it. It works very well and is unobtrusive, not getting in the way of the lowest octave.
