Subject:Ernie Ball Stereo Volume Pedal

I have purchased an Ernie Stereo Pedal and I like the heft and the weight
(?). At least I can control the level with the pedal. I need stereo output
and foot conrol, so that is my purchase. Anyway
I'd like to defeat the pan option, which frequently kicks in when unwanted,
after tapping the side switch, like during a solo. Ouch, yes that's true.
If the fast/slow were positioned on the pedal, this would be very nice, and
one less thing under the keyboard stack.

I'd like to change the side switch from control of the pan and instead make
it the on/off switch for the fast/slow of the "rotating speaker" effect.
Has anyone done this? I have disassembled the pedal somewhat and wonder if
this road has been traveled by others, before I chop into the wires and make
the mod, my way. I will cannabilize a on-off foot switch if I need to and
make the switch inside the Ernie Ball Pedal if I run out of options.
