Subject:Hammond Clone vote

Happy Holidays fellow VSGer's,

For the record, I vote "yes" for a change in the charter.
I originally joined this group because I owned a Voce SPIN and was
curious what other Hammond/Leslie clone owners were doing. I've
since sold the SPIN, but not before buying a Digitech RPM1, a Korg
G4, a H&K Rotosphere and now finally a Motion Sound R3-147 in my
ongoing pursuit of the best Leslie clone I can reasonably use in a
live rig. Even though the SPIN, the RPM1 and the Roto have moved on
to other rigs, I've always enjoyed how the members of this list have
shared their experiences in our unique pursuit of the ultimate clone,
and haven't really considered this list to be wholly a Voce vehicle.
Most of us seem to be in a similar position where we own real
Hammonds and Leslies, but the constraints of gigging live with them
is just not practical. I think it would be narrow minded of us to
restrict our focus to just Voce products when we could conceivably
all benefit from a wider range of topics and hopefully an enlarged
membership. I look forward to healthy change and the future of our
group.
