Subject:Re: H&K rotoshere question.......

Hi, Pete, Chris and other interested members. I am also in the UK
and am using the H & K Tube Rotosphere, fed from a Hammond XM1 module
and I wonder if you may be interested in a simple mod. which I have
found beneficial re the H & K. I feed the outputs from the H & K into
a pre-amp through a small mixer and have found the Leslie simulation
to be improved by cross mixing the left and right -hand channels a
little, ie mixing some left into right and some right into left, and
also if possible placing the speakers to face forward and back ,back
to back rather than the usual stereo left and right. Also as I am an
amateur playing in a small studio ( bedroom sort of studio ) and
being required by the family to practice quietly often on headphones
I have found that feeding the output thru a Sennheiser Lucas Pro-
Logic Headphone virtual surround sound unit completes the illusion of
Hammond plus Leslie.
